About Books and Business

WHO WE ARE

Based in Lower Kingswood, Tadworth and established in 2006 by Vivian; Books and Business originally offered a virtual secretarial service and data entry to companies looking for a bit of extra help. Vivian gained her Level 2 AAT Bookkeeping qualification in 2009 which then added a full bookkeeping service to the business.    


Vivian went on to complete her AAT qualification completing Level 4 in early 2017 and has continued to build her bookkeeping experience by also working as a Bookkeeping Manager for a local Accountants practice running a bookkeeping team of 4.  

WHAT WE DO

Vivian has a vast amount of experience looking after businesses in the trade and construction industry. 


Vivian is at her happiest dealing with day to day bookkeeping queries and issues, and is always on hand to assist clients that do their own bookkeeping with any queries they might have.  Vivian enjoys providing clients with specific training to make their lives easier and save them time by being more productive and knowledgeable doing their own bookkeeping.

At Books and Business we aim to simplify the financial side of your construction or trade business. We ensure compliance with Making Tax Digital (MTD) and offer packages tailored to suit the needs of your business. We offer comprehensive bookkeeping training which can be standalone or coupled in with one of our MTD packages.

What Makes Us Different to other bookkeepers?

We love empowering business owners managing their own books! But we are also there to jump in and assist you with the more complex bookkeeping problems (the ones that sap your valuable time!). Making sure you are getting the most out of your exisitng bookkeeping software and streamlining your processes is our goal - this will ultimately save you and your accountant time.
